How long does the procedure take?
The actual process of microneedling at New Horizons Med Spa takes approximately thirty minutes, meaning you can be in and out on your lunch break. Before treatment we may apply a topical anesthetic to promote ease and comfort. After the treatment we may suggest a calming serum to reduce redness.
How long is the recovery?
Though not generally expected, some patients may experience minor skin irritation. However, since there is virtually no downtime associated with the procedure the majority of our patients return to work and their regular schedules immediately following the treatment.
