How much blood will be taken?
A registered nurse will take a small vial of blood from your arm. Depending on the type of treatment and the area being treated we will take 10, 20 or 30ml of blood. In most cases, it is less than a standard blood sample used for routine tests.
When can I get back to work after the treatment?
The treatment with PRP fillers will take place at our clinic in Chandler, near Phoenix. After a PRP treatment, the face will usually look red and a bit swollen. Thin skin may show some tiny bruises, especially around the areas of the needle entry. The redness will disappear quickly, usually within an hour. The bruises can be covered with some camouflage make-up. A patient can usually resume their normal routine after 1-3 days.
How long do the results last?
Depending on your personal wishes and our treatment plan, PRP treatment can be combined with other treatments such as hyaluronic fillers to achieve the best results. In general, PRP treatment will be repeated until the desired result has been achieved. To maintain these results, an annual treatment of PRP injections is recommended.
